Hi! My name is Annelies Paluso. This is my 32nd year of teaching (I can’t believe it!) I started my career at West Elementary, then at Bloomington Elementary, and I’ve been at Riverside since 2020. I have taught Music, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. I really enjoy seeing students grasp and retain learning. When something is difficult and then I see the “light” turn on, it makes me very happy.
I am a mom of two awesome kids that have blessed me with eight grandchildren. I am so proud of my entire family. I have two cats, and now that my kids are gone, they are my babies!
I am a marathon runner (34) and a half marathoner (59). I love to exercise and spend time with the people I love.
